West African drumming workshops

Pierrot Vadeboncoeur will lead two introductory one-hour drumming workshops at Eco Echo near Wakefield on July 3. They will begin at 2pm and 4pm, with bilingual instruction, and are for all ages. Cost is $5 for CPF members, $10 for non-members. Please bring your own drum - but if you don't have one, Pierrot has a few you can borrow. You can drop in, but drums are limited, so to reserve your spot, please call 819-790-0649 or email sbutler@cpf.qc.ca. |

Wakefield chapter uses pottery to teach French

Circo Humano visits Mary Gardner School in Chateauguay

Circo Humano's continuing tour of Quebec brought their educational and entertaining workshop and show to Mary Gardner Elementary School on March 25. In the morning, they taught back-to-back workshops to two gym classes, and in the afternoon they presented their hour-long show, full of juggling, unicycling, and stilt-walking. It was, as before, a huge hit with the students and staff. |
